YouTube takes down Wendy Shay’s “Pray for the World” Music Video

About a week ago, Rufftown Records Wendy Shay released her brand new single for the year titled, ‘Pray for the world.’

The song’s chord arrangements sounds almost the same as popular hit song of 2020, ‘Jerusalema.’

While there have been ongoing discussions on song theft directed at Wendy Shay, reports has it that the video to the song has been taken down on Youtube.

Reacting to the news, Wendy Shay defended herself and the beat producer, MOG Beatz and revealed that her lawyers are working on the matter.

MOG Beats, the producer of the music took to his Twitter page to disclose the sad news. He then noted that the song was reported several times for being copied genre of Jerusalema.

He wrote; “Why am hearing that a group of people went to report Wendy Shay’s “Pray For The World” video and now YouTube has taken it down for what?!! I am angry!!

Ow Ghana so this is how bad you guys hate @wendyshaygh ? I am disappointed I cannot lie to you!,”

 

“@mogbeatz this is the Country we are living in ooo …I will fight for my right because Pray for the World has a different chord progression from Jerusalema.
